APS & Associates Takes Home Several Awards at the Publicity Club of Chicago’s 67th Annual Golden Trumpet Awards
CHICAGO – APS & Associates is proud to announce that the firm was recognized with multiple honors at the Publicity Club of Chicago’s 67th Annual Golden Trumpet Awards, which celebrate the best in public relations, marketing, and communications across the Midwest.
These awards acknowledge APS and individual team members for work on several high-impact projects including:
2024 DNC: DemPalooza – [Gold Trumpet]
During the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago, APS was brought on board by the convention committee to manage DemPalooza, a four-day celebration that brought together culture, politics, and community. The campaign highlighted Chicago’s vibrancy, empowered local businesses, uplifted artists, and gave visitors a taste of the city .
Cook County Health’s Inaugural Behavioral Health Summit – [Silver Trumpet]
APS partnered with The Kennedy Forum and Cook County Health’s Office of Behavioral Health to convene over 800 stakeholders in shaping the future of behavioral health. The summit centered on equity and accessibility in behavioral health systems, ensuring residents across the county could turn to reliable care.
Grow Greater Englewood: Englewood Village Plaza & Agro-Eco District Launch – [Silver Trumpet]
APS amplified the launch of the Englewood Village Plaza and Chicago’s new agro-eco district, designed to transform abandoned industrial spaces into community resources. Through strategic, community-centered media relations, APS helped ensure residents were aware of new opportunities for recreation, fresh produce, and green space.
In addition to campaign awards, two APS team members were honored in the 30 Under 30 category:
Allison Hunt, Political Associate – Recognized for her leadership supporting high-profile elected officials - including Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul - mentoring young professionals, and shaping influential political communications across Illinois.
Ipsita K, Senior Associate, Strategic Operations – Recognized for her leadership on multi-stakeholder projects, including Cook County Health’s Behavioral Health Strategic Plan, and her transformative contributions to APS’ internal systems and client success.
