Nick Ramos

Senior Political Associate

Nick Ramos, a native Chicagoan, is driven by a core belief in amplifying every voice in Chicago's diverse neighborhoods. Raised in Westown, he has committed himself to a career in politics and governance. Nick went to Lincoln Park High School before attending the University of Missouri (Mizzou), where his dedication to public service took root and interest in racial justice was supercharged.
Following his time at Mizzou, Nick embarked on a diverse career path, beginning as an aldermanic aide at the Chicago City Council. His journey continued with organizing roles within the Democratic Party of Illinois, leading to a pivotal five-year tenure at the Office of U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth. He furthered his impact through influential roles at the Shedd Aquarium and the Democratic Party of Illinois, and most recently spearheaded policy initiatives as the Director of Policy and Government Affairs at Alternatives.
Nick is dedicated to community causes, and spends his time outside the professional sphere volunteering with Casa Central, contributing to the Chicago Park District, and engaging with the Young Democrats of Illinois. Amid his political engagements, Nick finds balance in rock climbing adventures, supporting the Cubs and Bears, exploring new food across the City, and enjoying reading and podcasts.
