Arin Zwonitzer
Operations Coordinator
Arin is a dedicated social policy professional passionate about advancing evidence-based policy. With diverse public sector experience, she specializes in strategic communication, grassroots advocacy, project management, and mixed-methods research. In her role as Operations Coordinator, Arin works closely with Executive Vice President Rachel Hoge to oversee and implement the firm’s Operations, Human Resources, and Compliance/Risk Management functions. Additionally, Arin leads APS’ fellowship program, helping to nurture the next generation of public affairs professionals.
Previously, Arin managed the implementation of the Community Violence Intervention Leadership Academy at the University of Chicago Crime Lab and Education Lab. She began her public service career as a volunteer Community Organizer with the Sierra Club, and has also worked for AmeriCorps Jumpstart, Honorable Judge John A. Houston of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, McGuireWoods Consulting LLP, and the Northwestern Political Science Department.
Arin remains actively engaged in her community, serving as a Steering Committee Member for Strides for Peace and an Advisory Board Member for Chicago Appleseed Center for Fair Courts. In her spare time, she volunteers with Breakthrough Urban Ministries in Garfield Park and Chicago Debates for CPS. She holds a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Political Science from Northwestern University, and plans to pursue a legal career in impact litigation with a juvenile justice focus.
