My name is Elhaji Niang, and I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio. I’m a sophomore at Loyola Chicago majoring in Finance and Minoring in Political science. I have experience interning on a Senegalese presidential campaign and as a program administrator for a political advising firm in Cleveland, OH. I primarily worked closely with Congresswoman Shontel Brown (OH-11) and the overall Ohio democratic party’s campaign strategies and community engagement to improve wards with low voter turnout. In my spare time, I coach youth wrestling during the summer. I’m also the founder of a wrestling club on campus and a member of my college’s Rambler Brotherhood Project Club. I love to travel and explore new places. A fun fact about me is that all of my fingers are double-jointed! I hope to work in political finance or become an investment banker focusing on the political sector. And, of course, I’m so excited to start my journey with APS!
